Remington RM1025P

Remington RM1025P evaluation

The Remington RM1025P

As you’ve read above, Remington is a great and trustworthy company. The RM1025P Ranger, is the finest tool in this section. I’m ready to tell you why it’s the best purchase you could make, are you?

For starters it’s a 2-in-1 detachable saw. Want to see how it works now? In other words, you can use it as a pole saw and a chainsaw. Doesn’t that sound persuading? It has a 10 foot pole and a powerful 8 Amp motor. Also the easy flip and lock capability clamps down quickly to secure the pole length. In addition to that, it has has a non-slip grip for comfortable use and is ideal for trimming and pruning hard-to-reach branches.

It has a 10-inch bar and chain that are perfect for trimming small to medium-size branches. When you’ve finished taking down branches from above, the pole immediately disconnects from the chain saw, so you can slice branches down to the perfect size. The item weighs 12.4 pounds which dimensions of 9.5 x 9 x 66.8 inches. The pole extends from 10 foot to 15 foot, which is really great for trimming and pruning  those really high and hard to reach tree branches.

Needless to say, this product has great customer reviews and it’s exactly what you’re looking for especially if you are on a tight budget. I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. If you’re in need of a pole saw and a light weight chainsaw then this could be the best choice for you. If I may say so, the price as cheap as it is with this pole saw you really don’t need to think about if you can really afford it.

The SWJ803E by Snow Joe, has an adjusting telescoping pole that extends up to 9.4 feet and allows reach of up to about 14 feet of overhead reach. Buyer’s Guide

After considering all the options, my guess is that you probably have a few in mind. There are some factors you have to consider before making your final decision. In the next section I’m going to list the most important ones.

  • Use: think of why you’re buying this tool for in the first place. Is it to do chores at home or for professional or heavy duty use? How much trimming and pruning are you really going to do?
  • Power: as you’ve realized there are pole saws with batteries and corded, you have to think about how far away from an outlet you need to use the pole saw and the length of the cord or how long the batteries take to charge. And even think about buying new batteries in the future which could be expensive.
  • Specifications: Think about the height of the branches that you want to prune and trim, how high up are they and will you be able to reach them based on the length of the pole saw? The weight is also important because it’s an item you’re probably going to be holding up for minutes or hours.
  • Budget: evaluate all your options before buying, you might want to spend a bit more if you’re going to give the product a lot of use.

Those are very specific factors, that should determine your final choice. Depending on your budget I’m sure you’ll pick the best product that fits your needs but keep in mind that spending a bit more gets you better quality. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the products that are priced lower will not meet your needs but it does mean the cheaper products may not be as good.
